This April 14th, Erich von Däniken will turn ninety years old. The author of more than forty books and countless lectures and debates in public forums, has developed a body of ideas that revolutionized our understanding of history and humanity: Extraterrestrial intelligences –the “gods”– burst into the distant past to “create” humankind and foster culture and civilizations.
The present text is a tribute to this extraordinary Swiss author that claims: “They are here”.

Este 14 de Abril, Erich von Däniken cumplirá noventa años. Autor de más de cuarenta libros e innumerables conferencias y debates en foros públicos, ha desarrollado un conjunto de ideas que revolucionaron nuestra comprensión de la historia y la humanidad: inteligencias extraterrestres –los «dioses»– irrumpieron en el pasado lejano para «crear» la humanidad y fomentar la cultura y las civilizaciones.
